Berlin is one of my favorite cities. The first time I flew to Berlin was 18 years ago, the Israelis have not yet discovered it. There were not even direct flights here. Admittedly I did not expect to find such a beautiful and vibrant city, my perception was of a difficult German city, I bleive that if I did not want to visit my cousin who lives there I would not really visit Berlin, of course I have fly there many more times since. My initial encounter with the city immediately shattered everything I thought of, I found myself in the middle of the love parade in the square of the Tirgaden, I have discovered an open happy city and what not .. The truth is that Berlin has since progressed greatly, at that time the East was still mostly destroyed or under renovations.

Bergmannstrasse
One of my faivorit streets in Berlin is Bergmannstrasse in Kreuzberg, this street is very vaibernt, with cute littel botique shops, a varaiety of resurants and small food market.
Near by train stations: U Mehringdamm and Gneisenaustr .
If you are looking for a simple and good thai resturant you should try Pagoda resurant.
The Turkish Market
One of the markets I like the most in Berlin and is less touristy, is the Turkish market.
This market is a paradise for fabric lovers, you can find here a variety of beautiful fabrics at ridiculous prices. And of course wonderful Turkish street food.
Near by train stations: Schönleinstraße ו Kottbusser Tor
Ethnological Museum
Berlin has plenty of museums, but there is a museum that I particularly like (in the past year it had moved to a new residence , unfortunately I have not visited it yet), the Ethnological Museum. This is one of the largest ethnological museums in the world, this museum brings together over half a million items from Africa, America, Asia and Oceania. It is stunning in its beauty and wealth, some of the exhibit are huge and very impressive.
Address: Schlossplatz · 10178 Berlin

Rausch Chocolate
Speaking of my great loves, how can you do without chocolate?
Berlin has a magical place, on the first floor there are chocolate sculptures and a shop, on the second floor there is a café with delicious and corrupt cakes. Try to find a place by the window and you will get the view of berlin's most beautiful square , Gendarmenmarkt.
Near by train station: U Stadmitte
Graffitti
Hackescher Markt is a beautiful area with cool boutique shops, great restaurants and special courtyards, obviously a very nice area to wander around. On the main street ,Rosenthaler Strasse, there is a cute little alley with dozens of special and colorful graffitis.
On the same street in one of the courtyards, you can find a gallery that I really like, The Lumas Gallery, which has spectacular photographs and some of there are even affordable.
Near by station: S Hackescher Markt
